I’m Melanie Frances. I’m a digital artist, games designer and a theatre maker. I create art works that are playable, both live and digital experiences that invite audience members to actively engage, to construct their own route through an experience and often, to change what they see.

My background is in mathematics, and I am fascinated by mathematical patterns and by systems of all types – social, political, economic, environmental. My current interests lie in exploring how their order interacts with ideas that are less rigorously defined – fear, doubt, hope.

I am also the Co-Artistic Director of interactive, digital performance company Produced Moon.
